REDNECK RUN REVISITED – Saturday November 17, 2018 at Rio Salado Habitat, Phoenix
Yah, we took a year off… but we are back for 2018 in a NEW DATE and a NEW LOCATION y’all are gonna love. It’s a the Rio Salado Habitat in Phoenix. Y’all will be runnin (or walkin) on the path along the Rio Salado river. No cars, no noise… jest the outdoors! We’ll be gittin all the particulars up on this website soon, but meantime, mark yer calendar – SATURDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2018.
Action Media took some great photos of the 2017 run. You kin git em at http://www.actionmedia.photos/2017-redneck-run
Bring yer kids n’ dogs! Jest be good to all them other folks and keep to the right so they kin git by easy. If y’all bring a dog, keep it close – a 3 ft. leash wud be jest great! We don’t want anyone trippin out there on the course!
If one of y’all runs and the other stays back to mind the younguns, they won’t even be missin you, they’ll be having too much fun playing games!
Don’t yu’all go worryin about that…yu won’t be sitting at this event. Yu’ll be busier than hogs in a wallow running, walking, singin and dancin. Save yur sittin for when yu amble up up to the bar after at Whiskey Rose.
We won’t be chargin yu fer the fun ‘n games in Honky Tonk Village. Yu might even git home with more than yu came in with! There’ll be prizes for singin, decoratin those plungers, and playin games. Yu kin even score a prize fur what yer wearin!
5k ain’t evn as far as the cows go to pasture, but if yer skeerd uh runnin alone, bring a bud and do the relay. Or yu kin do the country mile. Just come on out and join the fun!
We won’t be having no weddins, but there’ll be a great party goin’ on. Westerlyn will be on the Honky Tonk stage at the start/finish o’ the run. On the course, you’ll be runnin past the Geetars, Casey Lee Smith and Mary Hoffman.
If y’all have some friends, they might be wantin to meet u out there on the course. Them there bands r gonna be playin from 9 to 10:30. G’on out an keep ’em company!
